One of the most valuable parts of joining a gym is gaining a gym family. When you’re at the gym, you’re vulnerable, you’re sweaty and you’re probably nervous. The best part, though, is that everyone else is in the same position as you.
You gain a sense of camaraderie among your fellow participants and get instructions after completing a difficult class together. And the more classes you go to, the more that camaraderie grows. Working with others also benefits your workout because they will motivate you to continue and can hold you accountable for your fitness goals. Exercising together is a lot more fun than exercising alone!
