Craig began CrossFit in 2013—and loved it right away. Despite his background in flag football, softball, and floor hockey, he says he realized quickly he wasn’t as in shape as he thought he was! Now, with extensive experience in CrossFit competitions and Spartan Races (including completing the Spartan Trifecta in 2015), Craig says he is in better shape today at 45 years old than he was at 25 years old.

If you ask anyone one word to describe Craig, they’ll all say without hesitation, “Efficient!” He is also well known for being a familiar friendly face in the CrossFit community, and for his engaging and positive personality.

His ideal trainees? Anyone who is hard working and willing to learn. Craig enjoys educating himself, too, by attending seminars and classes for Olympic lifting, weightlifting, gymnastics, and more. When it comes to literature, Craig reads Ben Bergeron’s Built by Bergeron, regularly checks out the CrossFit HQ’s posts, and also enjoys Food & Wine Magazine.

Craig’s favorite WOD is the Hero WOD, DT. He says, “I love workouts that can be a little heavy, but fast!”

One little-known fact about Craig is that he once spent a summer working in the Luxury Suites at Fenway Park.
